Backgammon is the oldest known game in recorded history. It has been called as the "wee war," backgammon started in Mesopotamia (now referred to as Iraq) almost five thousand years ago. For all that, Egyptians referred to backgammon as "Senat," which is a similar type of the current game played today. Centuries ago, only individuals in influence, the prevailing figures of aristocracy like Egyptian kings, were allowed to play. The game started to grow worldwide over time. Distinctive Backgammon versions have been created in numerous regions and civilizations, but the main protocols of those versions appear those of the antiquated form . For example, The Greeks grabbed a hold of the game and called it by the name "bac gamen." From there, the Anglo’s borrowed backgammon in the 1600’s and have stuck with it ever since. Backgammon and different antiquated games were never welcomed by a number of faiths. The clergy believe that the game was the tool of Satan. This led churches to blackball and burn the game. The banishment and burning had never prevent individuals taking part in games and having fun.
Technology affords a new arena for Backgammon. When different video machines are for sale all-over the place, computer academics in Artificial Intelligence (AI) have been using Backgammon for assessing, developing and measuring AI theories and breakthroughs as a result of the ease of game policies and complexity of strategies.
